Google Page Rank
Another round of page rank updates has rolled out recently. I am pleased to announce that the page rank of this blog increased from a 3 to a 4. The page rank on the main domain http://www.teethremoval.com. Is only a 3. Thus, the blog has a higher page rank.
I find this interesting because I hardly ever promote the blog subdomain when marketing this website. I always use the root domain name.
Thus it appears that Google gives preference to WordPress blogs over regularly designed websites. Or perhaps it is due to the plugins I am running in WordPress and which are not running on my main root level domain. Regardless, if you are seeking to start a new website it is a good idea to use a WordPress blog or use one in conjunction with your root level domain.
Microsoft Ad Center
In other news, Microsoft Ad Center, after 3 phone calls, finally sent me the following email.
Our Billing Department has indicated that your account was closed because it has come to their attention that you appear to be in violation of our Promotional Code guidelines which clearly states: “Limit: one promotional credit per customer.” It appears you have registered multiple adCenter customer accounts to redeem the promotional code multiple times.
I signed up for the promotional offer they were running that expired at the end of June, 2008. The offer was for a free $75 in clicks. All you have to do is pay a $5 sign up fee.
It appears that the billing department somehow found out that I had signed up for different accounts even though I was using different credit cards and shut some of my accounts down. Even so, I did make a good amount of money off the promotional offer for a couple of hours of work.
