Near Death Wisdom Teeth Removal Experience

I wanted to alert everyone to a recent article in The Orangeville Banner and The Wellington Advertiser regarding 17 year old female Mercedes Moore and her wisdom teeth removal near death experience. According to the articles, Mercedes had her wisdom teeth removed in February, 2009. She began to feel a purple lump on her left temple along with pain and swelling. She saw the dentist for a follow up and told her he thought nothing was out of the ordinary. Eventually she had to be airlifted to a hospital because she was suffering from septic shock due to an infection that had developed and spread to her main arteries and organs. She had to undergo a surgery on her brain to remove a piece of skull and clean the infection. This surgery lasted 10 hours. Due to the blood clotting … Read more

Stone Left Blind After Wisdom Teeth Removal

Earlier this year I reported on a teenager Austin Stone who was left in a coma after having his wisdom teeth removed due to complications from a faulty medical gas system https://blog.teethremoval.com/wisdom-teeth-removalleads-to-coma/. Stone was very recently able to walk at his High School’s graduation ceremonies and receive his high school diploma.  However, he was left blind, hard of hearing, and now has speech problems. A special ceremony was arranged for him to receive his diploma and his father helped him walked to the stage. To learn more visit http://www.tonganoxiemirror.com/news/2009/sep/10/homecoming-hero/

Wisdom Tooth Extraction Video

The following is a video provided by PBHS Inc,. which is the same company featured in the previous post. While they may engage in practices that promote oral surgeons to all use nearly the exact same content about dentistry, oral surgery, wisdom teeth, and other procedures on their websites, they also do provide decent content. This video talks about the process of getting your wisdom teeth out. Of course they fail to mention that your oral surgeon or one you are considering does not have to mention legally all of the possible complications that could arise from the surgery. Only the more prevalent complications and life-threatening ones are essential and must be mentioned before any procedure such as wisdom teeth removal.

Oral Surgeon Websites: Similar Content

I wanted to alert everyone to a new article I just wrote and updated on my website http://www.teethremoval.com/oral_surgery_websites_similar_content_similar_sites.html. It talks about how oral surgeons are using PBHS Inc. to design them websites. However, PBHS Inc. uses a template for the websites so the content for all of the websites designed is very similar. This means the information on procedures and even after care procedures for a large number of oral surgeon and oral surgeon group’s websites are nearly exactly the same if not identical. This is quite alarming to me and you should be aware of this if you are considering wisdom teeth removal surgery. The likely explanation is that oral surgeons are not skilled in website design and are not taking the time to modify the content provided by PBHS Inc. Even so, PBHS Inc. has a very large … Read more

The Frederick News Post reports that Danilo Carabio Banados currently faces three counts of third-degree sex offense and one count of second-degree assault. This is due to what occurred to one of Banados’ patients after wisdom teeth removal surgery. Banados works as a dental assistant in Frederick. On June 12, 2009, Banados was indicted of charges of sexually molesting a young woman while she was under anesthesia. The case is currently (as of time of writing) moving to Circuit Court. As the woman was waking up after the wisdom teeth removal surgery, she found Banados kissing her mouth and fondling her breasts. Maryland state police are currently seeking more information on the case. Banados worked as a dental assistant in the Frederick area for over 2 years.
