Nicola Peltz is an American actress known for her roles in the A&E TV drama series Bates Motel and in the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction. She is engaged to Brooklyn Beckham who is the son of English former football (soccer) player David Beckham and English fashion designer Victoria Beckham who by many is best known as the singer Posh Spice in the group Spice Girls. Earlier in 2021, both Nicola and Brooklyn had their extracted wisdom teeth encased in a gold mold and made into a matching necklaces. This was shared by Nicola Petlz on her Instagram. In a March 25, 2021, Intagram story, Nicola wrote, “I got our wisdom teeth made into necklaces @brooklynbeckham you’re my best friend.” On the same day Brooklyn wrote on his Instgram in an Instagram story, “The best gift from my best friend and the most amazing fiancée x I love you like crazy. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Love you @nicolaannepeltz.”
Some may think the idea of turning a wisdom tooth into a 24-carat encrusted tooth necklace is a strange idea. The idea apparently came from Nicola’s mom. She has said that her mom had her wisdom teeth in a closet for over 5 years and after Brooklyn had his wisdom teeth extracted, they decided to make them into the gold necklaces. Brooklyn had been complaining about his wisdom teeth bothering him while acting as a set photographer on a movie Nicola was filming. Nicola said that Los Angeles-based jeweler Anita Ko transfomed the wisdom teeth into gold-plated pendants.
Both Nicola and Brooklyn really seem to enjoy wearing these wisdom teeth necklaces. Brooklyn’s neclace is a wisdom tooth of Nicola. While Nicola’s necklace is a wisdom tooth of Brooklyn. They are seen on each other in many Instagram Posts since originally sharing back in March 2021 that they were made.
For example by Nicola, in an Instagram post by her on November 11, 2021, with the comment “London” she is clearly wearing the wisdom tooth necklace. As an another example by Nicola, in an Instagram post by her on October 8, 2021, with the comment “Boo.”, she is clearing wearing the wisdom tooth necklace. Nicola also describes the wisdom tooth necklace in a YouTube video on April 15, 2021, while discussing her beauty routine for Vogue.
As an example by Brooklyn, in an Instagram post by him on July 16, 2021, with the comment “My absolute everything.” he is clearly seen wearing his wisdom tooth necklace.
As another example by Brooklyn, in an Instragram post by him on April 7, 2021, with the comment “Me and you baby xx.”, Nicola can be seen next to Brookln wearing her necklace.
Encasing wisdom teeth into gold plated necklaces is clearly different than storing widom teeth stem cells for potential medical use in the future. Cleary the jewerly has actual use and in this case a shared emotional connection with someone one loves. As Nicola has said “All of our wisdom stuck in a tooth.”
